Windows 8, 10 - Installation Walkthrough
     
Please email us if you have any questions downloading and installing these programs.
  
     
     
You must be logged in as an administrator in order to install programs on a Windows 8 or Windows 10 Machine !
     
Once you have secured these rights:
     
Download Version
  
CD Version
     
     If you have the download version, follow the steps below.        If you have the CD version, follow the steps below.
     
     
     (Your browser screen make look different from the ones shown here)  

     1. Put the CD in the CD/DVD drive and this message will pop up:

 
     1. Go to the download page of DEC Software.    
     
     
 
     
     
     
     2. Right-click on the Download link.        2. Tap or click on the message and this message will appear:
     
 
     
     3. Save target as . . . (it is recommended that you put the installation file on the desktop).        3. Tap or click on the "Run autorun.exe" and this menu will pop up:
     
 
     
     4. Locate the installation file on the desktop and double-click on it.        6. At this point, click on the "Program Installation Page" and install the program of your choice.
     
   
     
     5. Go ahead and Run the installation program.

Register the Winsock file on a Windows 8 or Windows 10 machine
 
- For those who also need help, download a MSWINSCK.OCX file.
 
- Then drag it into SysWOW64.
 
- Then go to command prompt and run as administrator and type in regsvr32 c:\windows\syswow64\MSWINSCK.OCX.
 
- It is caps sensitive so if your MSWINSCK.OCX is lowercase like this: mswinsck.ocx then you have to put mswinsck.ocx with lowercase when typing into the command prompt.
 
- This works for registering all .ocx files.
